Leading Guidesly's India Global Capability Center
How I lead technology and operations for Guidesly's India GCC from Bangalore — with a focus on AI and SaaS product delivery.
Overview
Since 2020 I have served as Director of India Operations and Head of Technology at Guidesly, leading the India Global Capability Center from Bangalore. The center contributes product and engineering capability for Guidesly's platform, including AI features featured publicly with AWS.
The challenge
- Build and lead an India technology organization that owns meaningful product delivery, not only ticket execution.
- Ship modern SaaS and AI capabilities from Bangalore in close collaboration with global stakeholders.
- Keep delivery quality high while scaling teams and platform responsibility over time.
How we stood it up
- Lead the India GCC with clear ownership of technology outcomes and cross-functional delivery.
- Grow product and engineering capability in Bangalore around AI, cloud, and SaaS.
- Treat the GCC as a capability center — product and architecture leadership from India — not a cost-only model.
